The entries for the 2009 FORK photography competition were, once again, of a very high standard, and choosing the winners took Jimmie Macgregor and me a long time, as the photographs were so varied and used very different techniques.
Oakgrove Primary supported us greatly for the second year, producing lots of great photographs. The winner in the under-16 category was Ratuka Ninua, and in the over-16s, Alec Rattray.
Thanks go to Stravaigin restaurant and Papyrus for donations of excellent prizes. All under-16 winners also received a year’s subscription to the RSPB, thanks to FORK.
Congratulations to all the very talented entrants, and keep taking photos, next year’s competition is only a few months away.
