Clean Up

Sat 5th December 10.30 a.m.

Get fit, get a warm glow and help improve the quality of our river for wildlife and for everyone!

Wear old clothes and strong shoes or wellies. We will provide gloves and grabbers.

Meet at The Snow Bridge, near Kelvingrove Museum.

We usually finish around 12

There’s also hot soup, fresh rolls, coffee and tea at Ha’penny Bridge House 12:30

Meet at Kelvingrove Park at War Memorial (park entrance at Kelvin Way Toilets and over main Bridge)

We usually finish around 12

There’s also a barbecue after ever clean-up
Donation for burger or bring your own free. Volunteers can order at 10:30 burger/sausage/veg burger/tea/coffee to be served at Ha’penny Bridge House 12:30

Meet at Ha’penny Bridge House, just outside the west end of the Botanic Gardens, off Ford Road. Or cross the Botanic Gardens Bridge and turn left along the walkway.

As part of the Keep Scotland Beautiful National Spring Clean, there will be a clean up every Saturday in April.

The launch Event will be at Ha’penny Bridge House on Saturday 3rd at 10.30.

Clean Glasgow,  Local Community Police, Fire Brigade, Politicians, the Press, members of Partick Football Club andWild by Nature will be present.

Mug of coffee/tea at 4.00pm

There will be no evening barbecue

Members Only Canoe Safari

Tuesday 26th October
Every autumn FORK members are entitled as part of their membership to head out with our associates Wild by Nature on a fantastic adventure experience exploring the remote volcanic Islands of Loch Lomond on what is termed as a Canoe safari.
