Canoes, Facebook and other stuff
A few updates for you…
Canoe Safari and Dinner

The Canoe Safari and dinner was held as promised on the 11th of August. Many thanks to Stephen Bostock for writing up a great report of the day here, and you can see photos of the day here. More FORK/Wild by Nature events are planned for the future so check back for more details -
You can sign up for an email when the News pageis updated by entering your email address in the box on the sidebar on the right. You’ll only get an email once or twice a month at most in the winter months and a little bit more often in summer in the run-up to the Gala and other events.
Also note that our partner Wild by Nature has a new website.
Clean Ups
The place to meet for the clean-ups for the rest of the year has been decided. See the Upcoming Activities page. (Poster at the bottom of this post kindly provided by Marielle van Veggel).
Wanted – Ha’penny Bridge House pic
We could use a good pic or Ha’penny Bridge house for the site – with the shutters open. Right now the only pics we have show it closed
The front page of the site is long overdue for an update. It has always just had a direct copy of the text from the FORK leaflet and along with new text a pic of the house there may be a nice idea – especially if it were taken on a day sunny day.
If no-one has one then there’s a challenge for you next time you have the opportunity!
