The Royal Navy have promised 50+ men and women of mixed rank to lend their manpower to FORK for the second year running.

They will be coming to the Kelvin on Wednesday 25th June to clear rubbish from the river and its banks and have much more access to difficult to reach places than us mere mortal FORKs do on an average clean-up.

Please email Mark with suggested sites then we can build a challenging day for the team building crew.

All the sailors want in return is to be fed at the end of the day and that any  monetary donations to help us do this would be gratefully received by Mark too.

We plan a BBQ for them after they complete their tasks.

Just a reminder that this year’s Friends of the River Kelvin Gala takes place this Saturday (14th June) on the Kelvin Walkway, near the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow’s West End.
